TEAH Ballroom dance events and latest news in Kansas City and beyond.

A great opportunity for members coming up ....

in a little over a week!  We are very excited to welcome back a TEAH Ballroom favorite Dance Coach, Tsha Marie!  She will be in our studio for a full day of coaching, Friday, July 24th.

Tsha’s diverse dance training includes;  Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, Modern, Ballroom & Latin.  As a competitor she has been all over the world as well as being a U.S. Rising Star Latin Dance Champion, U.S. Open Rising Star Latin Finalist and U.S. Open Latin Finalist.

Her career has included work in television, theater and film industries as a dancer, instructor and choreographer.  Memorable highlights for Tsha are dancing on stage with Prince,  being a featured dancer in the movie “Dance With Me,” working with legendary Jazz dance choreographer, Gus  Giordano, and a dancer/choreographer for the Minnesota Timberwolves, where she performed in front of thousands nightly.

Competitive dancing behind her, Tsha focuses her expertise via coaching others to achieve their dancing goals whether social or competitive.  She is also an ACE Certified Fitness Instructor and a featured instructor on the newest dance fitness DVDs, “Figure 8 Fitness” and “Disco Abs” due in stores soon.  She didn’t forget the smart phone and tablet revolution either as Tsha is co-creator of iDANCE, a dance app for iPhone and iPad.  The app makes learning how to dance easy, fun and available on the go!

Utilizing her entertainment background Tsha co-founded the performing company CONTACT Entertainment.  The company’s goal is to fuse the sexy and sensuous movements of Latin dance with the provocative entertainment style of Burlesque.  In addition she is also a principle guest artist with Minneapolis’ Beyond Ballroom Dance Company.

We have to wonder, when does this woman sleep?  Not while she’s in Overland Park!  This opportunity is exclusively for TEAH Ballroom Members, so don’t miss out.  See your Instructor or stop by the Reception desk to sign up for coaching sessions.
